Pottery Classes

Silkscreens are amazing and easy to use with a little instruction!  You can choose from tons of designs and create a unique piece that looks professional!  Silkscreens can be applied using any color of glaze in the studio.  After you add the silkscreen you will simply paint the rest of your design!!

You will be amazed at how simple it is to use silkscreens after you take our class! You can come back and use the techniques you learn over and over!

Preserve your favorite family recipe and turn it into a family heirloom! In this class you will learn how to transfer a recipe in the original hand writing.  We can copy your recipe from a book or card in the studio. We can also enlarge it!  We provide everything except the recipe!

This is a beginner clay class where you will learn all the basics of clay hand building. Then let your imagination run wild! Make succulents of all shapes & textures! Each person will have 2 pounds of clay.

At this class we will learn how to use our many textured rolling pins and clay formers to create these fun clay dishes!  Each customer will receive one pound of clay which you can use to make 2-8 dishes depending on size! When you are making the dishes yourself the possibilities are endless! This is so much fun!

Kid’s will use their creativity to trace and cut a snowflake ornament using clay tools and cutters! Ornaments are app 4-5” in diameter.

Kid’s will learn out to make a pinch pot then they will turn it into a fierce shark!!

Kid’s will paint 4 round 3” clay coasters. Then they will carve out the details to make them look like citrus slices!

Kid’s will cut out their name with cookie cutters then attach them to a 12x3” plaque and paint!

Kids will create these cute little piggies using many techniques including a pinch pot! This is a longer more detailed project recommended for ages 8 and up .

Kids will be able to choose from many different stamps to decorate their clay. Then they will trace, cut, and paint this clay envelope hanger! 

This intermediate pottery wheel class will focus on creating a vessel with intention. Students will learn the parts of the pot and how to manipulate the clay into the form they want to achieve. We will learn about the foot, the belly, the collar, and the lip of the vessel. You will be permitted to make 3 items & keep your best 2. After your class we will finish trimming, firing, glazing, & firing your pottery for a final time!

We will notify you when it is ready to pick up in about 3 weeks. You must take at least one beginner wheel class or be familiar with the wheel & be able to center clay before you take this class. This class is recommended for ages 13 and up. We will provide aprons although clay will not stain your clothes. You should wear comfortable clothes, pull long hair back, & trim your nails for the best experience. This class is BYOB.
