Girl Scout Badge Workshops

Pickles & Pottery offers an assortment of Girl Scout Badge Workshops. Choose from our selection or request us to create a new badge! Girls will earn their badge in a day by completing all the steps in our studio! Each workshop incorporates pottery in at least one of the steps. Some badges include our other forms of art. Using inspiration found in the environment around them, girls will be challenged to paint a mural on butcher paper, a landscape on a plate, and to illustrate a mood on a mug.

Class is 2 - 3 hours

$45 per girl

In this class, girls get to learn about pottery and how to make pottery out of clay. Then, they get a chance to test out their new knowledge by making their own coil pot and ornament.

Class is 1.5- 2 hours

During this class, girls will create a long lasting portfolio and fill it with artwork using different mediums and techniques! They will then have an opportunity to take their skills to the next level by drawing on and painting a square container that can be used to hold pencils, keys, hair ties, etc..

In this class, girls will learn about the process of jewelry making and the tools involved. They will then get to test their skills by making a metal bracelet, glass earrings, a washer necklace, and seed bead earrings!

With this badge, we will delve into the vibrant world of comics. Each girl will create a comic strip that she will transfer onto a square dinner plate and paint!

Class is 2- 3 hours

$42 per girl

In this class, girls learn how to make collages out of different materials and color themes. They will learn about collages, make a collage that makes a statement, make a collage on a pre-made sample, and learn about cubism while painting tiny tiles to display in a tray!
